In anticipation of Valentine’s Day I made these little hearts to go in my daughter’s bedroom. I think they are kinda cute. I decided to hang them on an empty frame I got the other day where we shall be adding some more pics of her little friends as soon as we get around to printing them!

The pastel version done and dusted. This time I didn’t need to use toothpicks however I think they were easier to use than the brush I bought!

So here are the pegs I wanted to do yesterday…aren’t they cool! I did a different design on the front and the back in acrylic paint and then covered them with an acrylic varnish. Due to the lack of a small paintbrush all decoration was done with a toothpick(pff!).
They can be used in lots of different ways…for…hanging up clothes(!), hanging childrens artwork in their room, holding food bags together in the kitchen, to decoratively close a present…..
I’m going to do a pastel version tomorrow if I have time. Yummy!
