I did this for Maia yesterday..I think she liked it, I’m not really up to princesses so I guess it wasn’t perfect!
It’s to put her 5pm after school snack in. Hmm, looks like it’s a big snack! Maybe it could be a shoe bag, or a general bits bag going by how she loves to collect things and stash them away someplace secret…

Well, this is what I have been doing recently…more of the gingham crochet clips of course which have been a real hit, and some other 50′s inspired items. Mujer is going to the Rockerbilly festival in Pineda de Mar next week and asked for for some things she could take along. So here we have some vintage material used to make kiddies headscarves(after a big battle with my sewing machine), some new alice bands and some new gingham clip and hairband combo’s. I’m pretty pleased with how everything turned out, let’s hope that she manages to sell them!
La semana que viene hay una feria de Rockerbilly en Pineda de Mar, aqui hay unas cosas que he hecho para la tienda Mujer quien va estar alli unos 4 dias…un poco de vichy alquien?!

And the best thing is that it is that they are soooo incredibly easy to make which is always helpful, although not sure how long they’ll last in the Mediterranean sun..no doubt they’ll get eaten before they have the chance to melt!

Ok, the brooches are all done and they are now available along with the clips and some alice bands in Keboniko, c/Penedes 3, Gracia, clips and alice bands are also available in Mujer, c/Carders, El Borne and soon in Lulalalibelula, c/Asturias 31, Gracia…todo en Barcelona. And of course my felt shoes are still at both Mujer and Keboniko. Mwaaaa!

I’ve just finished painting the long awaited other side of my daughter’s bedroom, poor thing. I decided to use coloured blackboard paint for half of it and just plain white above. It needs another coat(gotta buy some more) but it’s nice and bright. I think I’ll add some coordinating circles to make with the other side too. I thought this image looked rather pleasing..well to my eye at least! I love the new print I got the other day from Keboniko by Cosas Minimas.

Am thinking of doing some matching brooches for my clips…even I would wear them I think, they are so pretty and summery. I bought about a million meters of gingham ribbon so I have to do something with it!!!
Estoy pensando hacer unos broches a juego con mis clips…yo los llevaria tambien, son tan bonitos y veraniego. He comprado millones de metros de cinta vichy y tengo que hacer algo con ello!!!

After that rash of cold weather I thought these clips I’ve been making might brighten things up…I am so pleased and excited with how they have turned out and a big thanks to my mother in law for doing all the crocheted flowers for me! The clip inside the little “sleeping bag” of gingham ribbon is a normal click open and close type which stays put in little people hair!
I would take a picture of them in situ as they really do look adorable actually in hair but of course my daughter as usual isn’t playing ball!

Despues de la nieve pensaba que estas clips traen un poco de alegria al dia! A mi me encanta muchisimo y estoy tan feliz con el resultado. Estan hechos ,a mano con cinta vichy de varios colores, y un abrazo muy grande para mi suegra quien hizo los flores de ganchillo! El clip utilizado dentro del forro es uno normal que queda fijado bien el el pelo de pequeña princesas. Me gustaria mostrar una foto con ellos en situ pero mi hija no me deja o sea que teneis que conformar con ese…
